Private School Councils to be established in Punjab

Parents will be the part of the councils. The Education Department issued directions in this regard.

LAHORE- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-16^th March, 2019) Punjab Government has issued direction for the establishment of school councils in all private institutions of the province.

Punjab Education Department issued a letter to all education authorities for the establishment of the councils in schools.

Local tv reported that children parents will be included in the private schools’ councils and the decision will be implemented very soon.

The government schools have already school councils where parents and other important personalities of the concerned areas have representation and they attend the monthly meetings in the schools.
