Vice-Chancellor, University Of Sindh Pays Surprise Visit To Teaching Departments Of Sindh University

The Vice-Chancellor, University of Sindh, Jamshoro Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat Wednesday paid surprise visit to teaching departments falling under various faculties to examine the state of ongoing classes after start of the new academic year on January 1, 2019
This was the third consecutive visit of the Vice Chancellor in the last two weeks with a view to ascertain how the preparations, arrangements and other required steps were in place, the university spokesman informed.
The VC said that regularity of students in the academic session was of tremendous importance without which smooth and successful functioning of the semester would not be possible. He said the regularity of teachers, students and support staff was the beauty of the very process of teaching and learning. He called upon students to maintain highest possible ratio of attendance to help improve quality of education at the campus.
The VC oversaw in person the sessions that were in flow, eulogized student interest and teacher passion in their respective works. He appreciated the teachers' hard work and said that the teachers of the university were experienced, devoted and highly qualified. He said he was happy to see teachers discharging their duties most passionately.
Dr. Burfat visited Institute of Information and Communication Technology and Centre of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry and informally interacted with students as well as teachers as to how the standards of teaching-learning practice could further be developed.
Among others, Prof. Dr. Imdad Ali Ismaili, Director IICT and Prof. Dr. Shahabuddin Memon, Director NCEAC flanked the Vice Chancellor respectively during the visit.
