Speakers on Saturday in a seminar highlighted the need for balanced and safe nutrition for a healthy life.
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Oct, 2018 ) :Speakers on Saturday in a seminar highlighted the need for balanced and safe nutrition for a healthy life.
The seminar on "Guidelines for Adopting Healthy Lifestyle" was held under auspices of E-Library with collaboration of Pak Nutri Services Multan in which more than 60 people participated from different sectors.
The speakers discussed and gave guidelines to people about balanced diet.
The session was headed by Chief Guest Dr Saeed Akhtar, Director Institute of Food Science and Nutrition & Director ORIC, BZU, Multan, who recently got distinction of the best teacher by the Higher education Commission. he enumerated merits of balanced diet.
Other speakers, including Dr Faraz Bilal, CEO the Physio Network Pakistan, Rana Nadeem Anjum, Divisional sports Officer, Multan, Dr Saadia Khan, MD Pediatrics Medicine Children Hospital, Multan, Dr Tariq Ismail, Assistant Prof IFSN, BZU, and Miss Saima Noor, Nutrition Expert, Home Economics College Multan) also shared their experiences and advocated promotion of balanced food.
Miss Reema Arshad, Nutrition expert, not only evaluated the common habits for unhealthy lifestyle but also provided solutions with practical examples from daily-life.
In charge e-Library Multan Saleem described the activities at the library towards educating the community.
