Immunization Of Children Imperative: Sardar Saifullah Dogar

Deputy Commissioner Sardar Saifullah Dogar has said that immunization of children was imperative to save the new generation from fatal diseases
He was addressing a media workshop at local hotel which was arranged by joint collaboration of the District Health Authority and the UNICEF on the topic of 'Role of Media for the Promotion of Child Immunization'.
The DC said the scope of awareness programme should be expanded for the information of parents to get their children vaccinated and media could play a vibrant role in this regard.
Additional Secretary Health EPI programme Dr Jabbar highlighted the measures being taken for implementing the expand programme of immunization and informed that the children should be get vaccinated from birth to 15 months of age.
UICEF Officer Qurat ul Ain highlighted the role of UNICEF for the promotion of health sector and informed that this year 'World Immunization Week' has been celebrated with a theme of efficient vaccine.
Pediatrician Dr Saleem Ullah Butt, CEO Health Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Sipra, ACs Shumaila Manzur, Nazia Muhal, Director Health Services Dr Tariq islam were also participated in the workshop.
