HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :Various health monitoring bodies likewise Sindh Multiple Indicator Survey (MICS), Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) and others had observed better service delivery against previous years alarming health statics and hoped that health indicators reflect positively in next MICS due for 2018.
Beside, the government health bodies and various healthcare organizations likewise Integrated Health services taken numerous technological and monitoring reforms to ensure staff presence at health facilities, the IHS media consultant Dr. Ashothama informed here on Monday adding that it resulted a visible OPD figures from 887633 to 1563357 patients in rural health facilities in a short period of last year.
The spokesman said, challenging issues facing these positive initiatives to recently handed over rural health centers of district Jamshoro's four health facilities including Sann, Arazi, Bhan Saeedabad and Jhanghara from where more than 150,000 population benefited of basic health care.
Similarly, in Kario Ghanwer, Paka Chang, Mirwah Ghorchani, Bulri Shah Kreem, Moro and other rural centers improperly portrayed, he added.
Clarifying the position, Dr. Ashothama said that free of cost, reliable and quality healthcare was a big task for running 111 health facilities through Public Private Partnership project with Sindh Health Department.
He informed that more than 1.5 million patients have been treated in the Out Patient Department and more than 2 hundred thousand patients have consulted specialist doctors.
There are 3383 normal deliveries and C-Sections along with many surgeries of varying scale have been conducted in the Hyderabad region alone, he said.
He informed that all basic laboratory tests, X-rays and ultrasound, labour rooms with MCH unit where Basic Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (BEmONC) services provided along with ambulances available for referrals.
