APHC AJK chapter has said that the people of Kashmir were offering sacrifices for the right to self determination and not for fraudulent elections
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS) ,the APHC-AJK at its meeting in Islamabad, today, said that the so-called elections in occupied Kashmir were illegal, immoral and in violation of the UN resolutions, said a press release issued by the APHC-AJK. The meeting was chaired by its Convener, Syed Abdullah Gilani.
The participants said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir had always rejected the election drama, as they had been offering their sacrifices for their inalienable right to self determination for the past seven decades.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has appealed to the international community and the world human rights organizations to prevail upon India to stop its revengeful policy against the Kashmiri people.
Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India had waged a war against the Kashmiris on every front. He said daily killings in the name of operation all-out have put every conscious individual within the firing range of coercive measures. However, he pointed out that despite using its military might, New Delhi would fail to crush the Kashmiris' legitimate struggle for their right to self-determination.
Like the previous two phases, the Kashmiris also boycotted overwhelmingly the third phase of the polling for the Indian Parliamentary elections in the territory.
