485 Uplift Schemes Being Completed Across Sargodha Division

Construction work is under way on 485 development schemes worth Rs 5.98 billion in all four districts including Sargodha, Khushab, Bhakkar and Mianwali of division
According to details, Rs 3.226 billion had been utilised on these schemes till June 2018, out of total Rs 5.98 billion, while Rs 489.4 million had also been allocated for these schemes in 2018-19 budget.
A meeting was chaired by Commissioner Sargodha Mehmood Hassan to review development work at all ongoing projects across the division.
The meeting was informed that so far Rs 200 million funds had been released out of 2018-19 allocations, and Rs 170 million spent on these projects. It was also stated that 22 new schemes of worth Rs 933.7 million had also been included in the 2018-19 budget and Rs 32.
9 million funds released for them.
The meeting was told that 92 per cent work on 192 schemes of roads construction had been completed.
A total of 176 schemes worth Rs 989.3 million by the Public Health Engineering Department are also under way, and 97 per cent work has been completed, meeting was informed.
A total of Rs 614.1 million funds were allocated for 88 schemes of the Buildings Department, Rs 104 million for the Local Government schemes, Rs 58.8 million for 13 schemes of the Irrigation Department and Rs 109.4 million for one scheme of the University. The commissioner directed the officials concerned to complete these schemes on time.
Deputy commissioners of all four districts and other officials also attended the meeting.
