Camel Rearers To Get Khidmat Cards,vaccination Of 5,000 Camels

LAYYAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th May, 2017 ) : Secretary Livestock Naseem Sadiq has ordered a survey to list camel rearers so as to issue Khidmat Cards to enable them get free medicines, vaccines and mineral mixture to keep their camels healthy and away from diseases.
This was said by Dr Muhammad Tariq Iqbal, Incharge Diagnostic Laboratory for Animals, during an inspection of ongoing vaccination drive targeting camels at Chobara, Nawan Kot and Shergarh on Wednesday.
He said so far 5,000 camels had been vaccinated in the district and added a survey of camel rearers was in progress and Khidmat cards would be issued after its completion.
He said camel rearers would be able to get free medicines, vaccines and mineral mixture for their camels through Khidmat cards.
He ordered staff to work harder to meet the vaccination target and added that Punjab secretary livestock has announced honorarium for employees of the laboratory to recognize their dedication to duty.
