
CDA Arranges Events To Mark Independence Day

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th August, 2016) : Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced the schedule of Independence Day celebration activities. The colourful events would be organized in different areas of the city from August 5, 2016 to August 14, 2016. In this connection, a three-day Table Tennis Competition starting from August 11, 2016 would be also organized at sports Complex and participated by renowned players from different parts of the country.
CDA has also planned a Clean Pakistan Jashan-e-Azadi Walk at Lake View Park which would be organized on August 7, 2016. Similarly, a three-day Jashan-e-Azadi Mela has been also planned at F-9 Park which would be inaugurated on August 12, 2016.
Furthermore, a birds Show has been also included in Azadi celebrations which would held on 13th and 14th August 2016 at Lakeview Park while a painting exhibition, children singing and painting competition would be held at Art and Craft Village on 13th and 14th August, 2016. Member Environment and Finance Sanaullah Aman has said that on the directions of Chairman CDA, Maroof Afzal special arrangements have been made to celebrate Independence Day in remarkable manner. He said that in order to engage residents of the Federal Capital in independence day celebrations.
