China Likely To Block The Move To Declare Masood Azhar A Global Terrorist

LAHORE- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 13th March, 2019) China is likely to block the move in UN Security Council to declare Jaishe Muhammad Chief Maulana Masood Azhar a global terrorist.
France, United Kingdom, and the USA have submitted the resolution in UNSC and it will take for discussion after a few hours.
Indian Media is reporting that China may block the move, quoting the statement of Chinese Foreign Minister who said Beijing will take a responsible position. China has also highlighted the need for the solution of Kashmir dispute.
The resolution if accepted will put a pressure on Islamabad to take action against the banned out.
An official of the foreign office said New Delhi will use the UNSC move as a propaganda tool against Pakistan.
Meanwhile, local media reported that the United States, after moving the resolution in UNSC, urged Pakistan to see the urgency of taking action against terrorists. US Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo emphasized the need for immediate action against terrorists at a meeting with Indian Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale in Washington a couple of days ago.
Analysts say the US and India were using pressure tactics against Pakistan at a time when the government has already started oppression against the all banned outfits.
