
Commissioner For Emergent Steps To Clean City Of Garbage

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th August, 2016) : Commissioner Karachi has said that in view of clear directives of Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, no stone will be left unturned for the removal of garbage from the city and provide neat and clean environment to the people. He stated this while reviewing on-going cleanliness work along with Deputy Commissioner Karachi South, Muhammad Saleem Rajput, and Administrator District Municipal Corporation (DMC) South, Muhammad Naeem Sindhu. A statement of DMC South on Tuesday said that the Commissioner directed that cleanliness work should be undertaken with commitment and zeal so that the positive results should reach the people.
The Commissioner said that cleanliness and beautification work should be performed day and night and remove the garbage from every nook and corner. He directed that footpath should be painted, the roundabouts be beautified and saplings be planted. It was pointed out that an emergency centre was working round-the-clock at the central office of the DMC South.
