Eight Found Murdered Near Narang Mandi

SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 8 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Oct, 2022 ) :Eight people were found murdered in various parts of Hachar village near Narang Mandi on Saturday.
According to DPO Faisal Mukhtar Sheikh, the victims were sleeping in streets and outhouses at night when they were targeted. However, the police have arrested a suspect with a sharp edged weapon.
The suspect was stated to be mentally ill.
Two of the victims were identified as Dilawar (22) son of Salamat and Asad (24) son of Akhtar belong to Hachar village while the identification of other victims was going on till the filing of this report.
It is premature to say that the incident was the outcome of terrorism or an enmity, the DPO said.
Police were collecting evidences with the help of CCTV cameras from various locations of the village.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for autopsy.
A case has been registered in this regard.
