HMC Demands Rs 10 Bln For Development Of Hyderabad

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jan, 2017 ) : A meeting of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation's (HMC) elected representatives was held here on Thursday which passed a resolution demanding Rs 10 billion development fund from the provincial government.
According to the details, the HMC's Mayor Syed Tayyab Hussain presided over the meeting while the chairmen, vice chairmen, councilors and reserved seats representatives of the 96 Union Committees of HMC attended.
The HMC's representatives demanded of the provincial government to allocate Rs 10 billion so that the development works which had remained suspended in parts of Hyderabad for last many years could be initiated.
They also called for allocating Rs 10 million fund for each UC's development work. The members said to optimize performance of the HMC administrative and financial powers were required.
