Interior Ministry Establishes Cyber Crime Police Station In Abbottabad

Ministry of Interior on Friday established a cyber crime police station in Abbottabad to investigate and stop cyber crimes from Hazara region.
According to details, the ministry has also established two more cyber crime police stations in Peshawar and D.I.
Khan under cyber crime act after increasing the number of complaints against crimes on social media and others.
The police station would investigate all electronic crimes independently where other departments of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) would not intervene. The ministry has also deputed the assistant directors and other staff members in all three cyber crime police stations.
The new cyber crime police stations were established under 2016 anti-electronic crime act section 51.
