
KP Allocates Rs.6 Bn For Beautification Of Divisional Headquarters

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th August, 2016) : The provincial governemnt has allocated Rs.6 billion for the beautification of all all divisional headquarters of the province. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister for Local Government and Rural Development (LG&RD), Inayatullah said that for beautification of provincial headquarters, the government has initiated mega-project with a name , "Beautification of Divisional Headquarter" During the current year, he said an amount of Rs.6 billion has been allocated while Rs.1.30 billion was spent last year.
Under this project, parks, footpaths and green belts will be constructed in Mingora, Abbottabad, Mardan, Kohat, D.I.Khan and Bannu city. He expressed these views while talking to media men after the conclusion of the JI Provincial Majlis Shora in Mingora, district Swat. Talking about the development plans, the senior minister announced the construction of Modern Bus Terminal in Mingora and said that they had joined politics the service of the people and they will not hurt the confidence reposed by the people on them.
