Market Committee Issues Price List Of Vegetables, Fruits

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th august,2016) : The Islamabad Market Committee on Tuesday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits. According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under: Potato per kilogram is Rs 34, Onion Rs 29, Tomato 62, Ginger Rs 82, Garlic (China) Rs 275, Garlic Desi 255, Lemon Rs 115, Lady Finger Rs 52, Green Zucchini Rs 62, Pumpkin Rs 54, Brinjal Rs 35, Peas Rs 162, Farsh Bean Rs 66, Tanda Desi Rs 70, Cucumber Rs 62, Capsicum Rs 85/55, Green Chilli Rs 35, Cauliflower Rs 84/60, Cabbage Rs 56, Bitter gourd Rs 65, Spinach Rs 34/22, Turnip Rs 55, Yam Rs 45, Maroo Rs 74, Carrot Rs 74, Chicken Rs 117 and Egg per dozen Rs 99.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 143/110, Apple Gaja Rs 95/55, Apple China Rs 195/155, Apple New Zealand Rs 268/235, Banana Pak Rs 78/48, Pear China Rs 160/130, Grapes 145/120, Gava 80/50, Peach Rs 98/65, Garma Rs 68/40, Mango Najri Rs 62/45, Mango Chaunsa White Rs 92/70, Mango Chaunsa Black Rs 62/45, Mango Ratool Rs 98/70 and Apricot Kabli Rs 195/160. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
