Mirpur Takes Sigh Of Relief From Moderate Rainfall

MIRPUR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2017 ) , June 10 (APP): Mirpur city and other various parts of the region in the Azad Jammu Kashmir Saturday recorded the moderate rainfall and citizens took a sigh of relief from dry spell.
Following the rainfall, cool winds started sweeping the region thereby further providing solace to the people. The rainfall brought down temperature by some degrees yet the same provided much needed respite to the people from blistering heat as the maximum temperature was hovering between 42.00 degrees Celsius to 46.

The rains along with strong winds led to snags in the distribution system of the power supply the state electricity department thereby snapping electricity supply to several areas of the district late Friday.
