Overwhelmingly response noted over government's Naya Pakistan housing initiative

With the launch of registration process for provision of housing facility under the first phase of Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme (NPHP) , an ambitious project of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led federal government, huge crowds turned up with an overwhelmingly response, vying to get their cherished dream comes true.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Oct, 2018 ) :With the launch of registration process for provision of housing facility under the first phase of Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme (NPHP) , an ambitious project of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led Federal government, huge crowds turned up with an overwhelmingly response, vying to get their cherished dream comes true.

An official of the housing ministry told APP that the housing project has received resounding response at all the designated centers in the seven districts including Sukkur, Quetta, Gilgit, Muzzafarabad, Swat, Islamabad and Faisalabad, adding it was expected that the process for submission of forms would get momentum with the passage of time.

The public appreciated this novel programme and said that it would not only help realize dream of providing the poor with a shelter, but also create sufficient employment opportunities.

A government employ, Tajamul Hussain said, the poor people were deprived of their basic need like housing facility, but surely with this housing project, they would be able to see light at the end of the tunnel by getting a new residence in his or her home district.

Mehtab Bashir, Islamabad based journalist, highlighted the benefits of the scheme by saying that it would ensure protection of people's fundamental rights to get their own home at the reasonable price.

Shaista Yasmeen from UK's NGO said that if this project bore fruit, it would indeed provide housing facilities to the people, besides creation of diverse jobs.

She said it must be noted that it was a long-term project which might require about five years for completion, but still PTI's government had done a great favour to this nation by keeping this scheme transparent.
