Three Killed As Rain Causes Roof Collapse In Hangu

HANGU (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / NNI - 11th March, 2019) At least three people including two minor girls lost their lives as roof of a house collapsed due to rain in Hangu.According to details, the mishap took place in Hangu�s Karbogha Sharif area.Getting information about the incident, the rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the victims to hospital for medical assistance.On the other hand, intermittent rains have inundated parts of Balochistan and flood alerts have been issued for Quetta, Zhob, Sibi, Kalat, Makran and Nasirabad.The citizens have been advised not to go near waterways.
A fresh westerly wave is currently affecting Balochistan and is likely to persist over upper parts of the country till Monday night.
Weather of Islamabad, Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Peshawar and other cities turned chilly after rain.
Drizzling in Sindh has also been reported.According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), widespread rain/thunderstorm (with isolated heavy falls) associated with gusty winds (snowfall over hills) is expected on Monday in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad divisions), Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country. Heavy rain may trigger landslides in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir. NNI
