Turkish Delegation, Council Of Islamic Ideology Discuss Possibilities Of Enhancing Mutual Cooperation

A six-member delegation of Republic of Turkey Monday visited Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) and discussed ways and means of enhancing mutual cooperation between CII and Turkish department of Diyant, Waqf and other similar organizations.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2018 ) :A six-member delegation of Republic of Turkey Monday visited Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) and discussed ways and means of enhancing mutual cooperation between CII and Turkish department of Diyant, Waqf and other similar organizations.
Talking to officials of CII, the delegation actively participated in the brotherly discussion on topics of Ijtihad and Fatwa in accordance with current requirements of the day. The delegation stressed exchange of experience for the welfare of their people.
The delegation thanked CII for providing the opportunity to discuss the important aspects of mutual cooperation. Secretary CII, Dr Hafiz Ikram-ul-Haq, officials of CII welcomed the delegation comprising Prof Hamdi Arsalan, head, department of Arabic, Sultan Muhammad Fateh University Istambul; Esat Yapici, official Mufti of Kayseri Region; Mustafa Erkem Dogan, Country Manager of Turkish Airline for American; Bilal Sagir, Head of Islamic Banking, Istanbul; Murat Kavakdan,Member of IHH (A Turkish Relief Organisation);Ozgut Niyazi, Member of IHH (a Turkish Relief Organisation).
The delegation was accompanied by Nadeem Ahmed Khan, Chairman Khubaib Foundation Pakistan Region, Mufti Muhammad Arif and Major Zahid from Khubaib Foundation. From Council of Islamic Ideology, Rana Attique Rehman and others participated in the discussion, said a press release.
The head of delegation Prof Hamdi Arsalan on behalf of his members expressed warm greetings to Pakistan saying they were happy to visit Pakistan especially to visit CII, remembering brotherly relations between Turkey and Pakistan.
Secretary CII expressed the same feelings on behalf of the chairman and briefed them about the achievements and functions of the council. They visitors were very impressed to learn about the active role of the council in bringing laws and society of Pakistan in accordance with the injunctions of Quran and Sunnah.
