Youth Forum Protests HR Violations In Held Kashmir

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Dec, 2016 ) : The Youth Forum for Kashmir (YFK) organised a protest rally against Human Rights violations in Indian-held Kashmir (IHK) from Punjab Assembly to Shimla Hill, here on Saturday.
A large number of young people participated in the rally. YFK Coordinator Tariq Ahsan Ghauri and other leaders of the forum addressed the participants on the occasion. Chanting slogans against Indian forces' human rights violations in the held valley, they urged the world community and human rights defenders to listen to the voices of Kashmiris.
They were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of Kashmiris struggle.
Tariq Ghauri said that world community should not remain silent at extrajudicial killings and other human rights violations in held Kashmir.
He said that December 10 reminds the United Nations and other world powers of their responsibilities regarding the long-standing issue of Kashmir. He said that Kashmiris demand their right to plebiscite as per resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
Other speakers also highlighted various aspects of Kashmir struggle. They said that the civilised world should come forward and play their role for resolving Kashmir issue and save women, children and youth of Jammue and Kashmir.
