The 3rd round of Quaid e Azam trophy cricket tournament 2019-20 would start on September 28 at three different venues here

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Sep, 2019 ) :The 3rd round of Quaid e Azam trophy cricket tournament 2019-20 would start on September 28 at three different venues here.

KP would meet Southern Punjab at its home ground Abbottabad Cricket Stadium, Balochistan would face Central Punjab at Bugti Cricket Stadium Quetta and Northern Region cricket team would play with Sindh at KRL Stadium Rawalpindi.

In the batting ranking of QAU trophy cricket tournament, Southern Punjab batsman Samee Aslam is on top with 350 runs, Abid Ali of Sind on 2nd with 249 runs, Azhar Ali of Central Punjab on the third position with 228 runs and Muhammad Ishfaq of KP were on 4th position with 219 runs.

In bowling Yasir Shah of Balochistan region stands on top position with 10 wickets, Zaffar Gohar of Central Punjab is on 2nd with 9 wickets, Muhammad Irfan of Southern Punjab in the third position with 9 wickets while Bilal Asif of Central Punjab in the fourth position with 8 wickets.

Wicketkeeper Adnan Akmal of Southern Punjab was on first position with 7 catches and two stumps, Rohail Asghar of Northern Region on 2nd position with 3 catches and 4 stumps, Bismillah Khan of Baluchistan on third position with 5 catches and 1 stump while wicket-keeper of Central Punjab Kamran Akmal on 4th position with 4 catches and 1 stump.

As per overall ranking of the teams of the 1st and 2nd rounds' tournaments, Central Punjab remained on top position with 35 points, KP on 2nd with 23 points, Southern Punjab, Sind, and Balochistan on third position with 20 points each.

It is pertinent to mention that only one match of the two rounds remained successful and five matches were declared draw.
