Thick fog forced the cancellation of the Super-G section of the women's alpine skiing World Cup super combined at St Moritz on Friday
St. Moritz, Switzerland, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Dec, 2017 ) :Thick fog forced the cancellation of the Super-G section of the women's alpine skiing World Cup super combined at St Moritz on Friday.
The tricky conditions had already forced organisers to switch the schedule, with the slalom won by American Mikaela Shiffrin held before the ill-fated Super-G.
This was one of only two super-combineds of the season ahead of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and organisers will decide later Thursday whether to save it by taking into account the results of the Super-G due at the Swiss ski resort on Saturday.
The other super-combined is staged at Crans-Montana on March 4.
