Kuldeep Yadav Takes Five As England Held To 159-8

Manchester, United Kingdom, July 3 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jul, 2018 ) :Kuldeep Yadav claimed his maiden Twenty20 international five-wicket haul as India restricted England to 159-8 at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
The left-arm spinner decimated England's top order with three wickets in four balls as he finished with 5-24 following India skipper Virat Kohli's decision to insert England after he won the toss.
England's innings was held together by opener Jos Buttler as he made a 69 off 46 balls before he also succumbed to the impressive Yadav.
The England wicket-keeper's knock was his seventh fifty in T20 internationals and took him past 5,000 runs in all T20 cricket.
England kept the same team which beat Australia by 28 runs in a solitary T20 international following their 5-0 one-day international series whitewash against the same side.
In that match the in-form Buttler was promoted to open the innings alongside Jason Roy.
Buttler, who came into this contest having scored the fastest fifty by an England batsman in T20 international cricket against the Aussies, got off the mark with an audacious shot.
To his third delivery from Umesh Yadav the England wicketkeeper played a ramp scoop on the turn which he lifted over India wicketkeeper MS Dhoni for four.
Buttler's fellow opener Jason Roy went at the ball hard as he struck five early boundaries while Buttler notched England's first six when he launched leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal into the stands.
India removed Roy with the final ball of the fifth over when he mistimed a pull shot off Umesh Yadav (2-21) through midwicket and ended up chopping on to his stumps for 20-ball 30.
Buttler continued to play confidence and swagger - a switch-hit for four off Chahal being the most eye-catching of his strokes.
He brought up his half-century off 22 balls - seven balls than his record-breaking fifty against Australia - with a six off Hardik Pandya heaved over deep square.
At the other end Alex Hales timed the ball less well and compared to Buttler seemed positively pedestrian with eight runs off 18 deliveries before he was bowled by Kuldeep Yadav following an attempted slog-sweep.
India's fans were on the feet waving their flags on a sun-drenched evening in Manchester when Eoin Morgan (7) skied a delivery from Kuldeep Yadav and into the hands of India skipper Kohli at deep midwicket.
They celebrated even more wildly three balls later when left-arm spinner Yadav captured Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root without scoring in successive deliveries.
Bairstow was outfoxed by Yadav's wrong 'un and stumped by wicket-keeper Dhoni before repeating the trick with Root as both men played down the wrong line.
England's lower order batsmen then came and went quickly - with Buttler also undone by a googly from Yadav as he was caught straight down the ground by Kohli - although David Willey's 29 off 15 balls boosted the total.
