PHF appoints Khalid as special representative in USA

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Oct, 2016 ) - Pakistan Hockey Federation has appointed Muhammad Khalid Awan as its special representative in the USA. Awan, a successful businessman in the States, has served the Pakistan board of Investment as Honourary Investment Councillor in America.

"We feel, Mr Khalid Awan is the best person to work for Pakistan hockey in the USA, and I am glad that he has readily accepted the role," said Brig (Retd) Khalid S.Khokhar, President of the PHF, who made the appointment said on Thursday.

USA is home to the fourth largest population of the expat Pakistanis. The PHF desires that a platform is developed there through which the Pakistanis settled in the USA could contribute to promotion of Pakistan hockey.
