Shahid Afridi Tells An Embarrassing Encounter With ‘girl’ In Biography

Sharing the incident of his heart-break, Afridi said that he used to talk to a girl over the phone back in 90s.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th May, 2019) Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi recently launched his autobiography ‘Game Changer’.
The book is already making waves as media reports tell that Afridi has made some startling revelations in his autobiography and has made several allegations against some of the legendary cricketers.
Besides these allegations, boom boom Afridi has also narrated some important incidents about his life.
Afridi writes in his book that he has always liked to party. He said that he talked to a girl all night in a night club in one of his visits to Australia.
Sharing the incident of his heart-break, Afridi said that he used to talk to a girl over the phone back in 90s.
“Before I was married this girl would often phone me. Her voice was amazing. mobile phones were newly introduced and were quite expensive then. I spent a lot to hear that girl’s voice,” he wrote.
Afridi wrote that after talking over the phone for months, they decided to meet.
Recalling its drop scene, Afridi said, “The bell rang and there stood a young man holding some roses. I received the shock of my life when he said he was the same girl I'd been talking to all these months."
The cricketer said that he felt very embarrassed in that moment.
Shahid Afridi has made some startling revelations in his autobiography ‘Game Changer’ written by renowned journalist Wajahat Saeed Khan.
Shahid Afridi has criticised many fellow cricketers, including the legendary ones. He criticised various cricketers, incluing Waqar Younis, Shoaib Malik and Javed Miandad.
In his autobiography launched on April 25, Afridi also revealed that he was not 16 when he played his first one-day match. He was 19-year-old then.
