Under-17 Hockey Training Starts In Bahawalpur

Under the supervision of legend hockey star, Matiullah Khan, under-17 hockey training has been started at Bahawalpur Dring Stadium where children aged between eight to 16 years would get professional training to play hockey
BAHAWALPUR, Sept 15 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Sep, 2017 ) : Under the supervision of legend hockey star, Matiullah Khan, under-17 hockey training has been started at Bahawalpur Dring Stadium where children aged between eight to 16 years would get professional training to play hockey.
Taimor Sameen Khan, District Hockey Coach Bahawalpur told journalists that hockey training for school students aged between eight to 16 years had been kicked off at Astroturf ground in Dring Stadium Bahawalpur.
"Internationally-known hockey star, Matiullah Khan, himself has been supervising training of under-17 school students," he said. Meanwhile, District Sports Officer, Maqsood-ul-Hasan Javed and Incharge Astroturf Hockey Ground, Tariq Mahmood said that Bahawalpur always earned good name and popularity in hockey sports.
They appreciated Punjab Sports board for extending its fully cooperation in promoting sports games in Bahawalpur.
