Women Among 60 Car Racers Listed To Join 3rd Thal Jeep Rally

As many as 60 adventure hungry car racers, few of them women also have got themselves registered to join the 80-kilometre long three-day Thal Jeep Rally scheduled to be held on Nov 18.
MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Nov, 2018 ) :As many as 60 adventure hungry car racers, few of them women also have got themselves registered to join the 80-kilometre long three-day Thal Jeep Rally scheduled to be held on Nov 18.
Regional Manager Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP) Asher Iqbal while talking to APP said that more racers could join the list till Nov 9, the last date of registration. Those who fail to get registered till Nov 9 would have to pay Rs5000 fine to join the third annual race.
Formal proceedings of the event would begin on Nov 16 at Multan Circuit House where drivers and navigators would hold conference i.
e discussions on how to negotiate with the race track.
Later, they all would join the qualifying round the same day to finalise the order in which they would join the race.
On Nov 17, women car racers and stock car racers would test their skills on the track. The race of prepaid vehicles would be held on Nov 18 and a prize distribution ceremony would be held the same evening at Faisal Stadium in Muzaffargarh.
The race would begin from Changa Manga mound in Muzaffargarh and would conclude at the same point after passing through Muzaffargarh and Layyah districts, Asher said.
