BAHRAIN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th Nov, 2016) : Facebook's recent bug has led close to two million being declared dead on their social media profile, including founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
According to British media, numerous Facebook users were greeted with a eulogy message on the profiles of friends and family, whereas some found their own accounts memorialized.
Though Facebook informed people of this bug, many people updated their statuses to inform their family and friends of them being alive.
“This was a terrible error that we have now fixed” a Facebook spokesperson said. “For a brief period, a message meant for memorialized profiles were mistakenly posted to other accounts.”
