Gunman Who Plotted Terrorist Act Killed in Dagestan - Russia's Antiterrorism Committee

A militant who planned to commit a terrorist attack was killed in a special operation in Russia's North Caucasus republic of Dagestan, weapons and a suicide belt were seized, the Russian National Antiterrorism Committee (NAC) said in a statement Tuesday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th February, 2019) A militant who planned to commit a terrorist attack was killed in a special operation in Russia's North Caucasus republic of Dagestan, weapons and a suicide belt were seized, the Russian National Antiterrorism Committee (NAC) said in a statement Tuesday.

"A counter-terrorism operation was carried out in the Derbent district of Dagestan. A gunman who planned to commit a terrorist act was neutralized," the statement said.
