Twice pest scouting recommended to control leaf curl virus

The Punjab Agriculture department has advised paddy growers to carry out pest scouting twice a week to control leaf curl virus on the crop.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Sep, 2018 ) :The Punjab Agriculture department has advised paddy growers to carry out pest scouting twice a week to control leaf curl virus on the crop.

A spokesman for the department said on Friday that attack of Leaf Curl Virus could increase on paddy crop during September so farmers should stay vigilant.

He said growers should seek guidance from the agriculture department of their respective areas regarding selection of poisons.
