Hong Kong stocks end morning higher

HONG KONG, Jan 9, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Jan, 2017 ) - Hong Kong stocks ended the morning session marginally higher Monday following another record close on Wall Street but earlier gains were pared.

The Hang Seng Index edged up 8.

87 points, to 22,511.88. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.56 percent, or 17.55 points, to 3,171.87 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.30 percent, or 5.99 points, to 1,994.12.
