Hyderabad Chamber Of Small Traders And Small Industry President Demands To Impose Ban On Imports

The President Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry (HCSTSI) Muhammad Farooq Sheikhani Wednesday appealed to impose ban on import of such goods which are being produced and manufactured in the country.
He said the economy of the country was getting negative impact due to imbalance in imports and exports and due to current economic condition with devaluation of Currency as well as enhancement in gas and electricity tariff, the local industry is unable to meet the demand of the international orders.
He underlined the need of banning on such import goods which are being produced and manufactured by the local industries in order to ensure the survival of the business community of the country.
The President HCSTSI appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Advisor Abdul Razzaq Dawood to encourage the local industry with provision of incentives, stability in gas and electricity tariffs and control in price hike. These incentives will bring in promotion of trade and industry as well as enhancement in exports and foreign reserves, he added.
