Pak forex figures $ 16.196 bn: State Bank of Pakistan

Total liquid foreign reserves of the country stand at dollars 16.196 billion, said the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2019 ) :Total liquid foreign reserves of the country stand at Dollars 16.196 billion, said the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

SBP's weekly statement issued on Thursday said that on April 12, the foreign reserves held by the State Bank were $ 9,243.

7 million and the net foreign reserves held by Commercial Banks amounted to $ 6,952.2 million.

During the week ending April 12, SBP's reserves decreased by $1,028 million to $9,243.7 million, due to payments on account of external debt servicing, including principal repayment of $1,000 million against Pakistan Sovereign bond.
