Russian Lower House Adopts Amendments To Russia's Federal Budget For 2018

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st November, 2018) The Russian Lower House adopted amendments to Russia's Federal budget for 2018, which increase its surplus from 0.5 percent to 2.1 percent of the GDP.
The amendments raise budget revenues by 1.875 trillion rubles ($28.
4 billion) to 18.948 trillion, mainly due to the growth of oil and gas revenues by 1.582 trillion rubles.
At the same time, expenditures increase by 218 billion rubles to 16.809 trillion rubles.
The surplus will amount to 2.139 trillion rubles, or 2.1 percent of the GDP.
