Govt Committed To Resolve Challenges In Education Sector: Shafqat Mahmood

Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood on Friday said that government was committed to resolve the different challenges facing by the country in education sector.
In a meeting with Romanian Ambassador to Pakistan Nicolae Gola, the minister said that government was bringing new education policy across the country.
To improve the education standards and provide skills development to youth would be the essential part of new education policy, the minister emphasized.
To bring out of schoolchildren to schools and implementation of uniform education system and curriculum were among top priorities of the government, he added.
"We were making efforts to improve the collection system of educational data", he said.
The ambassador on the occasion said that both the countries have good political and economical relations.
He said that Pakistan and Romania have much capacity to further work in education sector.
Both the dignitaries were agreed to enhance cooperation in the field of education.
