University Of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Inks Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) With Chinese University

Huazhong Agriculture University (HZAU), China, and the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Thursday inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in the fields of teaching and research.

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2018 ) ::Huazhong Agriculture University (HZAU), China, and the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Thursday inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in the fields of teaching and research.

The MoU was signed by UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar and HZAU Vice President Wu Ping on behalf of HZAU President Dr Deng Xiuxin. A 12-member Chinese university delegation visited the UAF.

The vice chancellor said that a Chinese institute set up at the university had enabled students and teaching community to learn Chinese to win scholarships in China.

He said that 35 faculty members of the UAF had completed their degrees from China.

HZAU Vice President Wu Ping said that Pakistan and China were enjoying great relations. She said that 26,000 students were enrolled with the HZAU, out of which 2,000 were international students. UAF Registrar Muhammad Hussain, Director External Linkages Dr Raheed Ahmad, deans and directors attended the ceremony.
