Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assures Commitment For Polio Free Peshawar

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has reaffirmed his firm government commitment for polio free Peshawar and assured to provide all available resources to achieve this end.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2018 ) :Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has reaffirmed his firm government commitment for polio free Peshawar and assured to provide all available resources to achieve this end.
The team deputed for the prevention of polio would be given proper security and it we all will work as a team towards this end, he assured.
He was talking to Advisor to Prime Minister on Polio Eradication Babar Khan here on tuesday. Deputy Commission Peshawar, CCPO and other relevant quarters were also present at the occasion.
The meeting focused on the Federal government planning, prioritization sensitive districts including Peshawar and underlined the need to make Peshawar polio free city.
The federal government's interest and keenness for the prevention of polio also came up for discussion and it was decided to plan a consistence struggle to make Peshawar free from polio with focus on other sensitive areas.
It is a collective effort and therefore we have to work as a team that would be supported by district administration, police and other relevant agencies.
The Deputy Commissioner also briefed the meeting about the steps for polio eradication and informed that a workable and comprehensive plan has already been worked out for eradication of polio from Peshawar and other vulnerable districts of the province.
