
14 -member Pakistan's Contingent To Participate In Olympics: Pirzada

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Augst,2016) : Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Pirzada Wednesday informed the National Assembly that 14-member Pakistan's contingent would participate in Olympics Games to be held in Rio de Janeiro.
In self-explanatory statement, he said the contingent include seven athletes, four coaches and three officials. He clarified that some media reports were based on here say and they were authenticated.
He said three officials were being sponsored by the International Olympics Association. He said no extra burden was being put on the national exchequer as was reported by some newspapers.
