53 Kg Narcotics Recovered, Weapons Seized In Sargodha

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd May, 2019 ) -: Sargodha police arrested 224 accused, including 84 proclaimed offenders and recovered over 53 kilograms narcotics and weapons from them during the month of April.
A Police spokesman said on Thursday that police squads, during operation against drug pushers, registered a total of 72 cases against drug pushers and recovered over 51 kilograms hash,1120 grams opium and 1250 grams heroin along with 1820 bottles of liquors.
During the operation against proclaimed offenders (POs) police had arrested 84 proclaimed offenders involved in murder, robbery, theft and others crimes.
Similarly, during drive against criminals and display of legal and illegal weapons the police teams recovered 3 kalashnikovs, 4 rifles 444 and 223 bore, 21 guns 12 bore, 46 pistols 30 bore and hundreds of cartridges, bullets from them.
