795,473 Vehicles Challaned Over Violation Of Traffic Rules In 2018 At Faisalabad

The City Traffic Police (CTP) challaned more than 795,473 vehicles in Faisalabad on the charge of violation of traffic rules and regulations during 2018.
A CTP spokesman told APP here Tuesday that major violations included underage driving, rash driving, installing tinted panes, one-wheeling, wrong parking, running motorbikes without helmets, driving vehicles without driving licences, driving vehicles without fastening seat belts, overloading, emitting excessive smoke and running vehicles without back-view mirrors, indicators and head-lights, etc.
The CTP challaned vehicles and imposed Rs 300.442 million fine on the violators.
Giving some details, he said that 2,044 vehicles were challaned in January, 75,167 in February, 75,048 in March, 69,934 in April, 69,977 in May, 70,888 in June, 71,337 in July, 76,648 in August,70,716 in September, 91,224 in October, 77,000 in November and 45,490 during the first fortnight of Dec 2018.
