Agriculture Conference At AARI

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Nov, 2016 ) : Punjab Secretary Agriculture Captain (retd) Muhammad Mehmood said no hindrance would be tolerated to achieve 100 per cent targets and poor performers would have to face accountability.
He was presiding over a Provincial Agriculture Conference at auditorium of the Ayub Agricultural Research Institute (AARI) on Saturday. Directors General Agriculture Extension, Water Management, Field and Pest Warning Dr Muhammad Anjum Ali, Malik Muhammad Akram, Dr.
Qurban Ali, Khalid Mehmud and EDOs, DOs agriculture department across the province also participated in the conference. He said the present Punjab government had been providing various packages to officers and staff of the agriculture departments and now it was their responsibility that they should facilitate farmers and provide them the best services.
He stressed the need to take an effective action against spurious and substandard pesticides and fertilizer producers.
