Agriculture Minister Lays Foundation Stone Of Library At Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University Of Agriculture

Provincial Caretaker Minister for Agriculture Sardar Ilyas Tanvir laid the foundation stone of a library at Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture, here on Monday
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2018 ) :Provincial Caretaker Minister for Agriculture Sardar Ilyas Tanvir laid the foundation stone of a library at Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture, here on Monday.
The provincial minister also donated Rs 20 million for the library from his personal account.
While talking to the media, he said that libraries play vital role in promotion of the latest knowledge.
He said that south Punjab was facing water scarcity, adding that we would have to resolve this issue on priority.
He said that the Supreme Court was also taking interest in construction of dams to resolve the issue of water crisis.
The provincial minister said that about 3,000 small dams could be built in Punjab. We would have to focus on water management.
MNSUA Vice Chancellor Dr Asif announced donating his two-daysalary for the dams and one-day salary of staffers for the account, established on the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
