Asfandyar Says Pak-Afghan Tension Benefits Terrorists, Condemns Attack On Haideri

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th May, 2017 ) : President Awami National Party (ANP) Asfandyar Wali Khan Friday condemning terrorist's attack on convey of Deputy Chairman Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said mounting tension between government and Afghanistan would directly benefit the terrorists.
In a statement issued from Bacha Khan Markaz, Asfandyar Wali Khan strongly condemned the terrorists attack on Deputy Chairman Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri. He urged the governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan to resolve the disputes and foil the nefarious designs of terrorists.
The ANP leader maintained that peace cannot be established in the country unless all the sanctuaries of the terrorists were abolished. Asfandyar said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balouchistan were on the target list of terrorists, adding peace could only be maintained when hideouts of the terrorists were dismantled across the country.
He called for targeted operation against the terrorists and facilitators in Punjab.
