Bilawal Lays Foundation Of MMZTM Medical College, Hospital At Hala

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Nov, 2017 ) :The Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while appreciating the performance of Sindh Government in promotion of health sector said that provision of basic rights including health and education is the responsibility of the government and the provincial PPP government is striving hard to provide these needs to the common people of the province.

He expressed these remarks while speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of Makhdoom Muhammad Zaman Talibul Moula Medical College and Teaching Hospital arranged in connection with the second death anniversary of PPP leader Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Fahim at Hala on Monday.

He said that the PPP during its tenure had always striven to provide job opportunities to youth and all basic facilities both in urban and rural localities with objective to move the country as well as the provinces towards rapid development.

He informed that the present PPP government has launched numbers of development projects worth over Rs. 100 billion and after completion, these schemes would set example for other provinces in provision of all required facilities to masses at their doorsteps.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that after completion, Makhdoom Muhammad Zaman Talibul Moula Hospital would not only produce the medical professionals but also help providing state of the art medical facilities to the area people.

He said that establishment of Cyber Knife Radio Surgery Centre, Bone marrow transplantation Unit in SIUT, Children Hospital and Mohatarma Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Trauma Centre in Karachi as well as state of the art ambulance service in 23 districts of the province, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical Complex in Larkana, Kidney Transplantation Centre in Sukkur and many other development schemes in health sector are the major achievement of present PPP Government in Sindh.

Besides, he informed that, cardiac hospitals with state of the art facilities would also be established in small cities of the province like Larkana and Tando Muhammad Khan. The Government has named the medical college and teaching hospital as Makhdoom Muhammad Zaman Talibul Moula with objective to acknowledge the higher services of the spiritual leader who was also the great poet and political leader, he said and added that Makhdooms of Hala were bonded with PPP and Bhuttos in a relation and its strength could be gauged through the fact that the first PPP Convention was hosted by Makhdoom Muhammad Zaman Talibul Moula in Hala.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said PPP is not a political party but it is a family where the people were striving for strengthening the democracy, rights of the masses, women empowerment as well as bringing development by eliminating poverty in the country.

He highly praised the services of Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Fahim adding that he was one of the loyal leaders of the PPP who refused the high post during dictatorial regimes. Shaheed Mohatarma Benazir Bhutto had full confidence on late Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Fahim and his services for the party were exemplary, he added.

Among others, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Makhdoom Jamil uz Zaman and Makhdoom Mehboob uz Zaman also addressed the participants of the ceremony. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on the occasion also performed the launching of three poetry books of late Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Fahim.
