Canals Closure Schedule Announced For Necessary Repairs

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Nov, 2018 ) ::Chief engineer Multan irrigation zone has announced a canal closure schedule for necessary repairs, advising farmers to opt for alternate sources for irrigation during the period.
According to an official release, Upper Pakpattan canal would remain closed from Dec 30 to Jan 16, Trimmu canal and Trimmu Sidhnai Link canal from Jan 10 to 27, Sidhnai canal and SMP Link canal from Jan 11 to 29 and Lower Pakpattan canal from Jan 12 to 29.
Farmers have been advised to opt for alternate arrangements during the closure period in their respective areas.
