CM Reviews Pace Of Ongoing Public Welfare Projects

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Nov, 2016 ) : Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday presided over a meeting which reviewed the pace of implementation of ongoing development and welfare programmes.
Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that work was being carried out speedily on development projects of billions of rupees in urban as well as rural areas of Punjab. He said that progress and prosperity of the common man was the pivot of development policy of the government.
He said that benefits of development projects should reach the masses at any cost.
Shehbaz Sharif said that Punjab government had adopted the policy of third- party audit to ensure transparency and speed in development projects.
He said that third party audit was essential for proper utilization of resources and monitoring of projects. Provincial Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed, Hamza Shehbaz, MNA, Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmed MNA, Chief Secretary, Members Provincial Assembly Ch. Shehbaz, Bao Akhtar, Chairman Planning & Development, secretaries of departments concerned and senior officials attended the meeting.
