DC Haripur Inaugurates New Features Of Citizen Portal

HARIPUR, Jan 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Jan, 2017 ) : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Haripur, Tasleem Khan inaugurated the newly introduced features of citizen's portal here Tuesday at DC office.
Keeping in view of the public interest in social media District government Haripur earlier made their pages on Facebook. Speaking at the occasion DC said that for public awareness, new features regarding District food Prices (DFP) of essential commodities including vegetables, fruits and others non- perishable items have been added on citizen portal whereby updated prices of these items shall be incorporated.
He also disclosed that any compliant regarding the overcharging etc. may be made through citizen portal for the redressal of the same. He further said that owing to the positive response of the general public on social media they have increased their activity to create awareness amongst the masses and added many features to their portal.
Tasleem Khan hoped that people would be benefitted through the updated information about DFP. A large number of people including the price magistrates, local elected representatives, members from civil society attended the ceremony.
