FPCCI's SVP Praises Govt's Target-oriented Economic Policies

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : The Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Sheikh Khalid Tawab, Monday said that present government's wise and target-oriented policies have helped in restoring macroeconomic stability and strengthening economic resilience of the country.
He congratulated Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Federal Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar over better results of their policies, said a statement issued here. Sheikh Khalid Tawab also referred to the letter written by Christine Lagarde, Managing Director, International Monetary Fund (IMF) to Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif after her recent visit to Pakistan on the occasion of successful completion of pre and post conditionalities of IMF-Supported Economic Reform Program of US$ 6.

He said the IMF Managing Director had also appreciated the Prime Minister and his colleagues for achieving macroeconomic fundamentals under their dynamic leadership and offered full support to Pakistan in its endeavors of economic prosperity. He noted that Pakistan was out of economic crisis, as economic growth was improving and there was decrease in inflation and fiscal deficit.
