Govt Prepared Detailed Plan For Welfare Of Merged Districts: Akbar Ayub

The provincial minister for Communication and Works department Akbar Ayub khan Saturday said that the government has prepared a detailed plan for the welfare of merged districts and will timely complete the ongoing schemes.
He was presiding over a meeting regarding the departmental schemes of the merged districts.
Secretary C&W Shahab Khattak, Chief Engineer of merged districts Uzair khan and other officers were present on the occasion.
Minister was briefed that in those districts 390 development schemes are going while 141 new schemes have also been initiated and 9792.46 million rupees have been allocated for these schemes.
The minister ordered the officers that quality of work and timely completion of the projects may be ensured while the staff may be trained on E-tendering and other relevant work which should be positively completed till February.
The minister assured that the issues of staff would be addressed very soon and they should just focus on quality of work. The minister added that by completing these development projects, merged districts would soon become problem free districts.
The minister ordered the authorities that no transfer should be made in C& W department till the completion of the merging process.
